PVARES Open house in the spring?

    What about having an open house style event at Caldwell park later on in the spring to drum up interest/getting out there?
    Newspaper event listing.
    Local events listing on the news calendars and
    Online news web sites also offer community calendars.

    On a side note I've put Randy and Susan Bird's FT-897D on layaway and am making payments on it. So i'll have a better radio for being stuck back in Midnight creek later on this year. I should also have my General by then.

    Open house sounds like a great idea ... perhaps even coupled with hamburgers and hotdogs?

    And then have a technician class scheduled recently afterwords so its fresh in their minds. And at the park have; PVARES fliers, Vests worn, and i think some one picked up a car magnet for advertising? And invite the press :)
